Volunteers are the backbone of the fire service, and YOU can be part of the team that saves lives and protects property in our community! No experience? No problem—Hoodland Fire provides all the training and skills you need to serve as a volunteer firefighter.
Who We Are
Hoodland Fire District #74 is a combination department with both career and volunteer staff, responding to approximately 1,000 calls per year. Volunteers work side-by-side with professional firefighters, providing critical emergency medical care and fire suppression services.
Who We’re Looking For
We seek responsible, team-oriented individuals who are ready to train, respond, and serve their community. If you’re physically and mentally capable and eager to make an impact, this is your chance to join a dedicated team.

Requirements
- 18+ years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license (subject to driving record review)
- Pass background check (national, state, local)
- Complete drug screening, medical physical, agility test, and mandatory training
