The district responded to 994 requests for emergency service in 2024, fulfilling our key mission of providing emergency services to the community, while also participating in the state’s response to the many wildfires across Oregon this past fire season.

The Fire District was established as a Special District by Clackamas County on September 19, 1966. Hoodland Fire District provides quality fire, rescue and advanced life support emergency medical services in a 45 square mile district between Sandy and Mt. Hood.
