Extreme Heat

SAFETY TIPS:

Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water, even if you’re not thirsty.
Limit Outdoor Activity – Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day (usually 11 AM–6 PM).
Check on Neighbors – Especially seniors and those with health conditions.
Never Leave Kids or Pets in Cars – Temperatures can rise to deadly levels in minutes.
Find a Cool Place – Stay indoors, in the shade, or at a cooling center if needed.

⚠️ Be extra cautious with fire safety—extreme heat increases wildfire risk. Avoid any activity that could cause sparks.
