- Our agency does not enforce air-quality complaints related to smoke. However, fire crews will respond if:

🚑 Smoke results in a medical emergency requiring patient care or transport

🔥 Fire Season Is Now in Effect – Regulated Closure in Place
Fire Season is officially in effect, and the Hoodland Fire District is currently under a Regulated Closure.
During fire season, certain outdoor activities can pose a high risk of starting wildfires. To help prevent human-caused fires, the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) has implemented specific restrictions on public and work-related activities.
We encourage all residents and visitors to stay informed and act responsibly.
